The quietest, most peaceful place we’ve ever been. It’s like being in another world. Can’t wait to come back.

Here for the 3rd time. Lovely and peaceful – great place to recharge your batteries.

We’ve done what we set out to do – relaxed and read a book or two. Quiet walks, drank some wine – sat out on the porch when the weather was fine. Sang some songs, fished some streams; life here is exactly what it seems – peaceful and calm in every way. Many thank yous Janet, we’ve enjoyed our stay

We hope you will enjoy a wonderful holiday with us – and “Haste ye back!”

Farewell to the Highlands, farewell to the North,
The birth-place of Valour, the country of Worth;
Wherever I wander, wherever I rove,
The hills of the Highlands for ever I love.

My heart’s in the Highlands, my heart is not here;
My heart’s in the Highlands a-chasing the deer;
A-chasing the wild-deer, and following the roe,
My heart’s in the Highlands wherever I go.

Farewell to the mountains high covered with snow;
Farewell to the straths and green valleys below;
Farewell to the forests and wild-hanging woods;
Farewell to the torrents and loud-pouring floods.

My heart’s in the Highlands, my heart is not here;
My heart’s in the Highlands a-chasing the deer;
A-chasing the wild-deer, and following the roe,
My heart’s in the Highlands wherever I go.

My Heart’s in the Highlands
